WHETHER it’s cocktails with the girls, lunch with the kids or coffee with the in-laws, the new cafe bar in Winton aims to appeal to everyone.

Conto Lounge, in Wimborne Road, is sister to the Ludo Lounge in Southbourne and opened its doors on Wednesday.

The £380,000 investment has created 20 new jobs for local people, all of whom live within walking distance of the bar.

General manager Alex Kreutz, said: “There has been a real need for this type of affordable, casual cafe bar concept in Winton.

“I know that Conto Lounge will thrive here and I’m delighted to be a part of something so new and refreshing.”

Alex Reilley, Loungers MD, added: “This opening has been a long time coming, we’ve been looking for new sites in Bournemouth since opening Ludo Lounge in Southbourne in 2010.

“Winton is a thriving suburb and suits our relaxed, all-day dining cafe bar concept perfectly.”

Conto Lounge is the 21st cafe bar in the group nationwide and a 22nd – Circo Lounge – will be opening in Westbourne next month.
